Here is a cooking tip for you. Making pan-fried king oyster mushrooms is simple and tasty, and the best part is it only takes five minutes! Start by adding 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 grams) of salt, 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 grams) of ground black pepper and 1/2 tablespoon (7.5 grams) of cumin to a small pan and cook it over low heat until aromatic. Then, slice four medium-sized cleaned king oyster mushrooms into two- to three-centimeter-thick pieces and make several cross-line cuts on one side of them. Next, pour some oil into another pan and add in the mushrooms. Using medium heat, fry one side until they have slightly browned and then flip them over and fry the other side. They should be cooked slowly; the entire process should take approximately 3-5 minutes. Serve the mushrooms on a plate and season them with the spice mix. You can also use 1/2 tablespoon (7.5 grams) of chili sauce as another dipping option.
