“Living in You, rejoicing in You. Like a beggar, receiving all he needs directly from wealth itself, with no one’s hand in between. Not united, not separated; perfection. No qualities, no description, no cause. Before the Flood and after it, every word I say is of You, in You, from You. As a woman speaks night and day with the ruins of her beloved, where now she lives in perpetual conversation.” I do hope that in any of the emergency situations, we can all act like Noah here, and that God will always be our comforter and refuge.
