Palestinian refugee community receives ongoing support from Germany.

Recently a German delegation met in Gaza with United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) officials. At the meeting, three new funding agreements were signed totaling €31 million, with a focus on infrastructure, shelter, facility rehabilitation, and short-term employment programs for Palestine refugees in Gaza and Lebanon. After the meeting, the delegation and the deputy director of UNRWA toured the Al Amal Elementary Girls School and several housing projects that were funded by the German government. They spoke with many of the project beneficiaries who have been relocated from crowded, inadequate shelters to newly built multi-story housing. The tour finished in Gaza City where UNRWA will provide support for some of the 131,000 Palestinian refugees, including the elderly, women, children, people with disabilities, at a new office. Germany is a Shining World Caring Leadership Award and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Wise Governance laureate. Thank you, Germany, your contribution is invaluable. May the Palestinian refugees flourish and prosper, in Allah’s magnificent Grace.

Japanese company launches moon lander.

The Japanese startup ispace has successfully launched the first privately-funded lunar robotic exploration spacecraft. HAKUTO-R Mission 1 lifted off from Cape Canaveral, Florida, United States, on December 11, 2022, and is scheduled to fly a low-energy trajectory to the moon with a lunar landing expected by the end of April 2023. The spacecraft will deploy robotic rovers made by Japan’s JAXA space agency as well as a four-wheeled unit made by the United Arab Emirates. The HAKUTO-R project will then continue with future deliveries of government and commercial payloads with the objective of building a permanently staffed lunar colony by 2040. Takeshi Hakamada, ispace’s founder and CEO stated, “This is the dawn of the lunar economy… Let’s go to the Moon,” Congratulations, ispace, Takeshi Hakamada and all participants! May your auspicious start herald more successes for this exciting lunar mission, in the mercy of the Buddha. “Vegan: cos the animal-people r so pure n innocent.”

Up next, Brazilian study links ultra-processed foods to dementia. We will now pause to give thanks to school janitors for their work in providing a clean and safe environment for students and staff, such as by cleaning offices and stairways, mowing lawns, and maintaining supplies at all times. When we return, more supporting news ahead, here on Supreme Master Television!

Hallo, charming viewers, I’m Cory, a vegan king from the Cuban Tody kingdom. I always try to do what I can for others, so that I make the best of my days during this lifetime. This way, my heart feels so peaceful and content! I have a tip on how to get rid of coffee mug stains. In a coffee mug you want to clean, create a paste that is about one-fourth cup (32 grams) of baking soda and one-fourth teaspoon (1.2 milliliters) of water. Get a damp sponge and scrub the inside of the mug. The baking soda serves as a light abrasive to get rid of the stains. Rinse off the mixture and repeat the process until the cup looks clean, and then wash it. You should always rinse the coffee cup immediately after you use it to help keep it spotless. You can also use these steps with tea-stained mugs, cups, and teapots. Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants alike. Here’s the weather around the world!

Study from Brazil finds ultra-processed foods may increase dementia risk.

A recent study by Brazilian scientists that followed over 10,000 people for an average of 8 years and was published in the journal JAMA Neurology, found that those who receive over 20% of their calories from ultra-processed foods, such as burgers, sausages, frozen pizza and fries experienced 28% faster global cognitive decline, and a 25% faster decline in executive functions (or higher-level cognitive skills) than individuals whose consumption of these foods was less than 20%. In Brazil, such foods make up 25 to 30% of citizens’ calorie intake and in the United States, 58% of the diet is ultra-processed. Previous studies have also found that these foods raise the risk of heart disease, obesity, cancer and more. Thank you, Brazilian researchers, for your helpful study into the dangers of consuming ultra-processed food. In the wisdom of Heaven, may your work help people switch to a whole food vegan diet, as we care for our health and live happy vibrant lives.

Government of Rwanda and British energy company provide advanced stoves for rural communities.

The UK-based firm BB Energy is manufacturing and distributing 200,000 improved stoves to Rwandan families in partnership with its local subsidiary Société Pétrolière (SP), and local manufacturer Quality Engineering Company (QEC). The Improved Cookstove initiative follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Environment in Rwanda and BB Energy with the goal of enhancing climate resilience of the African country. These free stoves will replace the traditional way of using wood as fuel, thus helping to reduce deforestation while protecting women and children from harmful emissions and respiratory diseases associated with cooking over open fires. QEC will establish programs to train local beneficiaries in the use of the new cookware. The initiative has also created more than 100 jobs for Rwandans. Our gratitude, the government of Rwanda, BB Energy, Quality Engineering Company, and all those involved in this benevolent endeavor beneficial for the people and environment in the country. May the soulful Rwandan people enjoy clean and healthy vegan cooking, in Celestial radiance.

Quilters donate over a thousand handmade quilts to Kentucky flood victims.

Evelyn Morgan, the owner of Quilt Heaven in Grayson, Kentucky, United States, wanted to help her community after it was affected by flooding in July 2022. The enthusiastic quilter knows how much love, time, and expense goes into making each unique design and how much comfort they can bring. Ms. Morgan shared her idea of gathering and donating the works of art on social media. Donations poured in from all over the country, with the first batch taken to Stark Church, where Ms. Morgan worships. A service was held to pray that the quilts bring solace and the knowledge of God’s blessings to the recipients. Over 900 of the gifts have been given so far, with 200 more waiting to be distributed. Many hugs, Evelyn Morgan and all involved, for your caring work. May all the flood-affected Kentucky residents quickly recover and be comforted, in the gracious benevolence of the Divine. “Vegan: fight against the negative force.”

Coming up, United States cream cheese brand makes first vegan product. Let's take a moment to do some yoga to help our bodies stay flexible and healthy. You’re watching Noteworthy News on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Outstanding News for a Wiser World.

One hundred-and fifty-year-old cream cheese brand from United States debuts first-ever vegan item.

The Philadelphia brand, which marketed the first cream cheese created in the US in 1872, and is now owned by Kraft Heinz, has released a vegan version of its famous product that mimics the original. The new vegan cream cheese is made from a base of coconut oil, along with faba bean protein and potato starch, and comes after more than two years of development. Kraft Heinz created the delectable vegan offering due to surging demand from the public and a goal to reach net zero emissions by 2050. A plant-based version of Philadelphia Cream Cheese, made with oat milk and almonds, debuted in January 2022 in the United Kingdom, where the brand is owned by American multinational confectionery Mondelez. Great news, Kraft Heinz, Mondelez and Philadelphia, on the release of your vegan cream cheeses. May you soon transition all of your products to vegan for the good of the planet.

Police convey thanks to cow-people for helping capture wanted man.

In Southwest England, UK, when police were chasing a criminal suspect, they received unexpected help from a herd of about 12 law-abiding cow-people. The National Police Air Service (NPAS) officers recorded clear footage from a helicopter of a fugitive on the run in the countryside being pursued by a persistent group of cow-persons who eventually cornered him into the “welcoming arms of the law.” It was such a big help that the NPAS crew asked their colleagues on the ground to “thank the cows.” Bravo, our heroic cow friends, for helping law enforcement in this very effective collaborative effort. May humankind quickly recognize that animal-folk are intelligent, loving and incredibly helpful. May we all adopt the benevolent vegan lifestyle to give our friends from the animal kingdom the respect and love they deserve, in God’s wisdom.

The following joke has been optimized to uplift your mood, so let's get right to it. This one's called, “Cemetery Shortcut.”

Late one night, Philip takes a shortcut through the cemetery. Midway through, he hears a tapping sound. He gets scared and quickens his pace. Then, he notices a man chiseling a tombstone. Relieved, Philip says:

“Thank goodness! You gave me such a fright. But, why are you working so late?”

“They spelled my name wrong.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Batbayar in Mongolia:

Hallo! Greeting from Mongolia. I am currently an initiate-to-be. In a short period of time, many changes have occurred in my life. It feels like all these things are being arranged naturally by some force. I became friends with an initiated disciple of Master. He gave me “The Key to Immediate Enlightenment.” After returning home, I opened the book and I couldn’t take my eyes off it until I finished. Then, I immediately decided to become vegan. This decision was supported by my girlfriend and we both became vegan in just one day. On the very next day, we went to the center to register for initiation, started keeping the Five Precepts, and from then onwards we have been reading Master’s lectures and watching Supreme Master TV. Next week we will receive initiation.

The center gave us a big photo of Master as a gift. When I got home and opened the photo, it felt like Master had arrived in our home. We have started a new business together. It has been very successful. All this happened in only three months. While listening to Master’s lectures, it feels like I have listened to them somewhere before. Also, it feels like I have seen and known Master from somewhere. I pray for the world every night. We cannot wait to receive initiation and start meditating. Also, in this life, we have decided to follow the path that Master teaches. On behalf of all sentient beings, we would like to sincerely express our gratitude to Master for returning to this world, again and again, selflessly devoting Herself to help the world and the numerous poor souls. Long live Master. Batbayar from Mongolia

Aspiring Batbayar, We rejoice to read of your connection with Master, or perhaps we should say reconnection, in recognition of the déjà vu and unlocked remembrance you felt. It is amazing to learn of your and your girlfriend’s conversion to veganism in one day. Congratulations! May the Grace of the Buddhas fill your days and those of magnificent Mongolia, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master has this welcoming reply for you. “Awakened Batbayar, my congratulations to you for having found your way back Home and my loving support as you, and your girlfriend, walk the enlightened vegan path. May you, your loved ones, and the radiant Mongolian people always know joy and abundance, in the Buddha’s embrace.”

“Furthermore, killing an animal destroys its life, while plants can continue to live as long as their seeds are sown again. In fact, the majority of vegetables and fruits will not grow well if they are not harvested by having their stalks or branches trimmed on a regular basis.” ~ The Venerable Dharma Master Hsing Yun (vegetarian)
