They have intel, they have ways, they have techniques to know everything. And even they know, recently, just before the battle began, officially, they kept reporting, a couple of days, a week or something before. And still did not have any sanctions until the last minute almost. (Yes, Master.) And just leave Ukraine alone, fighting like that. All alone in the whole world. Did you hear me? (Yes, Master.) Ukraine was left all alone in the whole world to fight for the world’s ideal of protecting freedom, protecting democracy, protecting their own people.

When the Prophet was alive, Peace Be Upon Him, He had to run. Some people had to defend or stop the enemy, stop the government chasing them. (Yes, Master.) Just fight back a little bit to delay, (Yes.) not with the intention to kill or anything. It’s just in the battle, you die or he dies. (Yes, Master.) Either you die protecting your family, or you let him go and kill your family, rape your wife, your kids. (Yes, Master.) So, this is a different situation. (Yes.) Not like those Muslims nowadays, they are not Muslim. Either they are ambitious or want to carve a name for themselves or a place for themselves, or they misunderstood the Prophet. (Yes.) (Yes, Master.)

The Prophet, Peace Be Upon Him, never advocated killing, no man, no animal-person, no women, no children, nothing. He was a compassionate, merciful Master. (Yes, Master.) But suppose, if somebody wants to come and kill the Prophet, or kill me, and you’re nearby, wouldn’t you just fight with that guy? (Yes, of course, definitely.) (Protect the Master.) So that I can run? (Yes, Master.) And you would tell me, “Master, run, run, run! Don’t stay! I’m OK, I’m OK,” even if you’re bloody all over. (Yes, Master. Definitely.) Say, “OK, Master, don’t worry! Run, run, run! I’ll come after.” (Yes, Master.) And you will fight with that guy. (Yes.) No matter what, you will not think anything anymore. (That’s right, Master. Yes.) You would just want to stop him. (Yes.) And during the fighting, if he dies, it’s not your fault. (Yes, Master.) It’s his fault he came and ran after your Master. (Right.)

So, the same in the time of Prophet Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him forever, ever, and ever. I’m thinking how the Prophet and His faithful followers had to suffer at that time. Always had to look behind their shoulders. (Yes.) Always had to hide, cannot even eat in peace, could not even meditate well, because of the ignorance of humans at that time. So, He said, “If you fight for the faith, then you will go to Heaven.” And He said the truth. (Yes, Master.) Absolute truth. I know that. (Yes, Master.) By the example that I just told you now. (Yes.)

But if you just go any day, anytime, anywhere, want to convert people or want to make a statement like “Muslim is great” or all that, then he’s just bombing people, killing people at random like that. It’s murderous. (Yes, right.) This truly is a terrorist. (Yes, Master.) It’s not Muslim. (Yes, true, Master.) Very, very low mentality, or don’t understand the great teachings of the great Prophet, Peace Be Upon Him. (Yes.) I feel also so sorry for them, whatever their motive, they are just doomed to hell. I’m very sorry for them, but I can’t do anything, because they don’t understand.

OK. Any more, my love? You understand now? (Yes, Master.) Good boy. Good boy, you understood? (Yes, Master.) Completely? (Well…) No? (There’s a little bit about karma.) Ask me, ask me. Yes. (Yes, about karma.) Yes.

(Like, if someone is attacking you and if you fight back, we could create a cycle of karma.) Yes. (Or should we accept that, if we have to die, we die. I guess sometimes I’ve read some of Your lectures, and I thought I understood that maybe you just accept and end that cycle of karma.)

Can do, if that’s what you think. But sometimes it’s your natural reaction, you can’t help it. (Yes.) You did not want to hurt him or anything. That is different. (Yes.) You just try to protect yourself without hatred and without wanting to hurt the other person for satisfying your vengeance. (Right.) (Yes, Master.) Then you can fight back, (OK.) fight just enough so that you can run. (Yes.) And if he’s down already, you let him be. You will not stamp on him. You will not make him suffer more. (Yes, understand.) (Yes, Master.) And that is the spirit of martial arts also.

You don’t beat up people when they’re already on the floor, or begging you for mercy. But Putin, he’s nothing like that. And despite the fact that he learned judo with great masters in the world that taught him well, he has nothing of their spirit. (Yes, Master.) So now they stripped him of his title, took away the black belt in spirit. (Yes. Good.) They deny him now his title. (Yes.) Even if he has ten black belts, it makes no difference. (Yes, Master.) They disown him. (That’s right.) They feel shame. (Yes.) Normal martial arts masters, teachers, they are like that. Normal martial arts practitioners, they are like that. They have this gentleman’s spirit. (Yes, Master.) They normally have to vow in front of the master to uphold this kind of spirit ‒ not arrogant, not feeling mighty because you know martial arts and you can beat up anybody. Not like that. (Yes, Master.) Just for self-defense, or helping to defend someone else if the occasion arises. (Yes, Master.) But he betrayed all those principles. He went and just invaded innocent people’s country, a noble spirit country. (Yes, Master.)

Many Ukrainians are safe and sound abroad. They are coming back to fight, the men. Many are like that. And some Americans also volunteered to go there to fight, (Yes.) and some other countries also. (Yes. Even from India.) India also. (Yes.) I forgot. There are quite a few countries. (Yes.) They are safe and sound where they are, but they just cannot bear it. (Yes.) They just cannot bear this injustice measured onto innocent people. And they also have awe and respect for the Ukraine’s spirit. (Yes, Master.) Noble and indomitable spirit. (Yes, Master.)

I also am in awe of their spirit. (Yes.) Even if they’re not my disciples, they’re not practitioners, but they do have that in them: a noble spirit. And I really salute them. I wish I could help them more. I wish I could help them, not just pray. (Yes, Master.) If it were me who was in charge of NATO, or the European Union, or America, I would ask them immediately, the moment we know there are intel reports that Russia is building up their force at the border, I would do the same. (Yes, Master.) So that they know, “OK, go ahead. We’re ready.” (Yes.) And so many alliances together. (Yes, Master. Many countries.) The whole European Union. The whole NATO, the whole America and allies. (Yes.)

How can we just let Putin do anything he wants? (Yes, Master.) And not protect the weak and small, like the Ukrainian people. (Yes.) But they are worthy of respect. (They are, Master.) But OK, now they know it and they’re still not helping. Suppose it were me who was in charge; that I’m a worldly person, and my duty is to be a soldier or a commander-in-chief; (Yes.) I would suggest, I would call everybody, “Come with me. Come to the frontier. Ready!” (Yes, Master.) See what Putin would do. Whatever he does, we can. (Yes, Master.) Because if they profess that they protect freedom, that they work for freedom, that their ideal is freedom, and protect the meek and just, then they should have done that. (Yes, Master.) If freedom is their goal, is their ideal in life, then that’s what they have to do. They knew Russian soldiers have been there already, months before you and I know. (Yes, Master.)

(Yes, Master.)

You see the picture? (Yes, Master.) Ukraine alone in the whole world, (Wow.) in the whole mighty world. They are going to let them die, fighting or not. (Yes, Master.) If Ukraine is lost, no matter if Putin advances further to other countries or not, they lost one ally. (Yes.) They lost one friend who had the same ideal as them. Do you understand me? (Yes, that’s true. Yes, Master.) They just abandoned a friend. Before talking about anything else, before they even know if Ukraine is noble or not. (Yes.)

Noble or not, they deserve protection and help, by their neighbors, at least. The Bible always says, “Love thy neighbor.” So, you let your neighbor be beaten or stabbed to death and their country or their property, their houses burnt and their possessions looted? (No, Master.) And you just stand there and fold your hands in front of your chest. (No, Master.) And say, “Oh, I have my house rules.” “My wife told me not to do it, not to talk to strangers.” (Yes.) “My wife told me to mind my own business. I can’t do that. There’s a house rule that my wife has taped on the refrigerator. I can’t do it.”

It’s a natural reaction that when your neighbor is hurt, in trouble, you run over there. (Yes, Master.) You will not think whether or not you can. (That’s right.) Just like if you see somebody drowning, you jump in and help him, right? (Yes, exactly, Master.) Sometimes you might lose your life also, but you would not think at that moment about yourself. And that is a true hero. You see? (Yes, Master.) Otherwise, they are all just lame ducks! Lame ducks. L-a-m-e d-u-c-k-s. (Yes, Master.)

If the whole world just stands by and folds their arms in front of their chest, then I have no respect for anything at all. (Yes, Master.) No matter if they’re a king, queen, president, prime minister, this is all garbage to me. (Yes, Master.) Because they’re worldly people. They’re not like monks or nuns or anything. (Yes.) And this is a justified cause to fight. (Yes, Master.) And not like go interfering with other neighbors or want to be a big shot or anything. This is truly a justified cause. (Yes, Master.) Ukraine didn’t do anything! (Right, Master.) Russia already took a bite of their land and took another two bites already, and now wants to take the whole thing and swallow it up. Not like the world did not know about these three regions, that’s been bitten off from the whole of Ukraine body. (Right, Master.)
