In today’s news, Qatar Red Crescent Society improves water supply system in northern Syria, COVID-19 variant from South Africa appears to elude immune responses, Spanish town converts bullring into useful public space, Sri Lanka launches project to generate electricity from garbage, man bequeaths fortune to border collie in United States, catering company in United Kingdom debuts plant-based meals for seniors, and lost dog reunited with family after three and a half years.

Project provides Syrians in Idlib Governorate with clean water.

Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), a Shining World Compassion Award laureate, has completed repairs and new construction so that internally displaced people in Deir Hassan and seven nearby camps have access to safe drinking water. Over the course of 12 months, the village water well and pumping station were reconstructed, 20 elevated water tanks were installed throughout the region, and sewage systems were upgraded to prevent the spread of waterborne diseases and protect the environment. Most importantly, residents now have their own sustainable source of potable water without relying on trucks to deliver it. Our heartfelt gratitude, Qatar Red Crescent Society, for your exemplary endeavor. In Allah’s boundless love, may the resilient people of Syria be blessed with enduring peace and the promise of fulfilling lives.

Researchers study effectiveness of vaccines against mutant strains.

Blood samples from a limited number of people in South Africa who either recovered from COVID-19 or were vaccinated have shown weakened antibody activity against altered versions of the underlying virus. In particular, the variant called 501Y.V2 has been responsible for several cases of reinfection, and alternate forms identified in Brazil and the United Kingdom carry some of the same mutations. Virologists note that results of laboratory experiments do not necessarily mean that members of the public will be susceptible to infection. Further studies are needed to determine whether the first generation of vaccines will provide an immune response that is diverse and potent enough to protect against emerging viral variants. Our deep appreciation, international researchers, for your crucial work. In Heaven’s uplifting grace, we pray for the imminent dawn of a healthy vegan world that is brimming with peace.

Up next, Spanish town converts bullring into useful public space. We’ll take a moment to thank the fire protection engineers, who analyze fire hazards, install fire suppression systems, and mitigate fire damage through mindful construction design. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more inspirational news.

Hooray, treasured friends! I’m Wally the vegan Hog. Are you looking for a healthy diet that’s scientifically proven to help you lose weight? Look no further – vegan is the way to go! Here’s a tip for making your own delicious and economical snack – roasted apple peels. Carefully remove long strips of skin from 4 apples and toss them in a mixing bowl with 1/2 tablespoon of neutral-flavored vegetable oil and a dash of salt. Prepare a mixture of 1 teaspoon vegan granulated sugar and 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Add half of this mix to the peels in the bowl. Next, lay the peels out next to each other in a baking pan lined with parchment or a silicone mat. Bake them for approximately 12 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit or until the edges turn brown. Be sure to keep an eye on them so they don’t burn. After you remove the peels from the oven, let them cool for a few minutes before you sprinkle them with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar. Enjoy your homemade chips the next time you get the urge to nibble! Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around the globe.

Bullring to be transformed into new community center.

Benidorm, a tourist destination on Spain’s Mediterranean coast, is moving forward with plans to convert a former bullring into a useful public space. The city council has invited bids for a complex that will include a central library with study rooms and an auditorium, a youth center with an exhibition hall, as well as facilities for local groups to have meetings. The arena venue will be refurbished to resolve structural issues, two stages will be constructed, and new lighting and sound amplification systems will be installed. The project, scheduled for completion in 2023, is part of the city’s Sustainable and Integrative Urban Development Strategy, which has received €10 million in European funding. Our delighted applause, Benidorm city council and donors, for taking steps to elevate the region’s collective consciousness and pave the way for future blessings, in Celestial celebration.

Island’s power sector shifts toward renewable energy.

A pilot project is underway near Sri Lanka’s capital city of Colombo to turn solid waste into electricity. The first plant will consume approximately 700 tons of garbage each day as it produces 10 megawatts for the national grid. The plan will help solve an environmental issue while it also contributes to the economy of the country. It is envisioned that the process will be duplicated across the island with the State Ministry of Urban Development, Coast Conservation Waste Disposal, and Community Sanitation coordinating the daily collection of trash in each district. The government of Sri Lanka is a Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance laureate and has committed itself to using renewable energy to generate all of its electricity by 2050. We salute your determined efforts, Sri Lanka, and eagerly anticipate the beauty and purity of a pollution-free planet.

Successful businessman was very fond of his dog.

Bill Dorris from Tennessee, USA, used to travel frequently and entrusted his border collie Lulu to his friend Martha Burton whenever he was on the road. After Mr. Dorris passed away at the end of 2020, it was revealed that he had bequeathed US$5 million to his four-legged friend. The funds were placed in a trust managed by a conservator, who will oversee reimbursements to Ms. Burton for all expenses related to Lulu’s well-being. Although she knows she can never spend such a fortune on the pooch, Ms. Burton told NewsChannel 5 Nashville television, “Well, I’d like to try!” Our hearts are touched by the mutual affection from a furry angel and her human protectors. In Heavenly upliftment, may Lulu and Ms. Burton enjoy many happy years together as Mr. Dorris’ soul smiles contentedly.

Coming up, catering company in United Kingdom debuts plant-based meals for seniors. We will take a moment to step outside and remove some twigs and branches that fell onto the lawn. The fresh air is invigorating at the same time! More wonderful news when we return! Please stay with us here on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Motivating News for a Thriving World.

Older generations now accepting of vegan food.

Catering company Apetito is well known in the United Kingdom for its delicious chef-prepared frozen meals that are overseen by an in-house dietitian. There are hundreds of menu items for clients to choose from, including preparations that satisfy ethnic and cultural preferences plus options to modify food texture and portion size. Recently, the award-winning business partnered with plant-based chef Lydia Downey to expand its Culinary Inspirations range with eight new vegan entrees for care home residents. Vegetable Gratin, Butternut Squash Risotto, BBQ Mexican Bean & Jackfruit and Japanese Katsu Curry are a few of the intriguing additions. Bravo, Apetito UK and Lydia Downey, for making different plant-based flavors and types of cuisine available to elderly citizens who will appreciate the variety. In Heaven’s radiance, we pray for people of all ages to embrace veganism without delay for the most fulfilling lives possible.

Volunteers and social media help recover lost dog.

In the summer of 2017, Rachel Koster’s family moved to a new home north of Houston, Texas, USA. While they were unloading their belongings, Maddie, their little schnauzer terrier mix, disappeared. All efforts to find the longtime household member were unsuccessful. Three and a half years later, in February 2021, a volunteer for The Forgotten Pet Advocates saw a stray canine on the south side of Houston and picked her up. A veterinarian scanned for a microchip, but the information was outdated. When the story was posted online, someone with Lost Dogs of Texas took notice and used a special database to contact Rachel Koster’s mother. Finally, Maddie and her family were reunited amid tears of gratitude and joy. God bless all the caring volunteers who made this rescue possible. In Divine goodness, may we always love and cherish the animals in our lives.

Let’s have a little chuckle together with our joke of the day entitled, “Questionable Advice.”

“My problem, doctor, is that I’m always dizzy for about half an hour after I get up in the morning.”

“Hmm, why don’t you try setting your alarm to wake up half an hour later?”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Simiran in New Zealand:

Dear Master and Supreme Master TV team, I feel our world is really changing to a vegan world now. I have a patient, a young girl, 26-year-old, who came to our clinic for a treatment two days ago. When I told her she should get rid of meat, dairy and eggs from her diet and seek work in a vegan restaurant (she is a chef and was working in a big food supply company) for the benefit of her health, she agreed to my suggestion immediately. She told me she has seen that many people are switching to a vegan diet recently. I asked her how she knew. She said her colleagues, who are chefs as well, are going vegan, and her future in-laws, who are 70-years-old or so, are going vegan too. She also heard that her daughter's friends and their families have decided to go vegan. Right now, many cake shops are providing vegan cake options and they are really delicious, even better than the dairy ones. Many of these positive changes seem to have happened in 2019, becoming more frequent after Master’s retreat in 2020, and after the satellite coverage available to our world. Thank You, Master, for Your blessing to our planet via Supreme Master TV. Simiran from New Zealand

Insightful Simiran, Thank you for sharing the positive changes witnessed in your part of the world. The global vegan trend is gaining momentum, fueled by the Divine energy of God, Supreme Master Ching Hai, the uplifting programs on Supreme Master Television, and the inspired efforts of so many people like yourself around our Earth. We pray for the salvation of all animals and humanity. May God bless you, the innovative New Zealand people, and your spectacular country, with vision and abundance. In Heaven’s Grace, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master said: “Super Simiran, this type of news brightens my day and brings a smile! Let us pray that the transformations you see quickly accelerate worldwide, with whole nations becoming vegan and implementing Vegan Law. Imagine how wondrous everything would be! May the Providence always guide you and intrepid New Zealand.”
