Japan supports healthcare systems in Zimbabwe.

The government of Japan, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion, Animal Protection, and Generosity laureate, is contributing approximately US$3.8 million to help Zimbabwe acquire much needed hospital equipment related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Twelve hospitals will be provided digital X-ray systems, bedside monitors, electrocardiograms, and other devices, as well as hospital beds, wheelchairs and IV stands, etc. This is in addition to a similar donation of US$2.7 million Japan provided to equip a hospital in January 2020. Our appreciation, Japan, for your charitable assistance to strengthen Zimbabwe’s COVID-19 response plan. May the kind people of Zimbabwe be healthy and well, in the tender embrace of the Providence.

United Nations calls for lifestyle changes to curb excessive global warming.

In its “Emissions Gap Report 2020,” the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has revealed that the planet is on course to warm beyond a devasting three degrees Celsius by the end of the century, despite a drop in emissions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To reverse this disastrous pathway, the assessment made a range of recommendations for crucial lifestyle changes, stating: “For food, a shift towards vegetarian or vegan diets offers substantial potential for carbon mitigation,” reducing up to 0.9 tons of CO2 per capita per year. Measures were also suggested including taxes on high-carbon (meat) foods, subsidies to help people buy more fruit and vegetables, and major supermarkets encouraging consumers to choose plant-based meat alternatives. Thank you, United Nations Environment Programme, for this report. We pray for the urgent worldwide implementation of vegan law to ensure a stable and livable climate, in Heaven’s grace.

Up next, United States scientists create fully biodegradable tableware. We will take a moment to thank the technicians who maintain the electric vehicle charging stations, ensuring their safe and smooth operation. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more peace-filled news.

Hallo, brilliant viewers, I’m Theodore the vegan Red Crested Turaco. Others say I look younger and cool… ah, that’s because I’m vegan! Today, I have a cleaning tip for you. When buying reusable cloths to clean your home, consider choosing different colors and textures to keep track of their different uses. For example, you can designate certain colored cloths for the bathroom, another for the kitchen, and a different one for general dusting, and so on. This way, you can avoid cross-contamination. Thank you for watching, and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Here’s the weather around the world!

Scientists create fully biodegradable tableware.

Dr. Hongli (Julie) Zhu and team, from Northeastern University in Boston, United States, have created fully biodegradable tableware made from sugarcane pulp that remains after extracting the juice. The material is then woven with bamboo fibers. The plates, cups and containers, which can hold hot liquids and oily foods, take only 60 days to decompose. The team also added an eco-friendly chemical called alkyl ketene dimer that boosts the tableware’s sturdiness when in contact with wet food or drinks. During testing it was seen that their products outperformed other biodegradable containers in strength, grease resistance, and non-toxicity. Also, producing the new tableware emitted 97% less CO2 than when manufacturing traditional plastic containers. Many thanks, Dr. Hongli Zhu and team. May we quickly shift to these effective alternatives and thus, a more waste-free economy in harmony with Nature.

New monkey species discovered in Myanmar.

A newly identified leaf-eating primate with distinctive eye rings has been named Popa langur after Myanmar’s sacred pilgrimage site, Mount Popa. This extinct volcano region is also home to an important wildlife sanctuary where the adorable monkeys were found. In light of this wonderful news, however, there are only around 200 to 250 individual Popa langurs remaining today, due to excessive hunting and habitat loss. Researchers from United Kingdom-headquartered non-governmental organization Fauna and Flora International and the nonprofit German Primate Center made the discovery through genetic and field studies, and were helped in their classification by UK’s London Natural History Museum. Our appreciation, all involved in the discovery of this unique species. May the precious Popa langurs and their habitat be protected, in Divine compassion.

Man uses drone to help find strangers’ lost puppy in United States.

When Brian James of Cairo in New York State saw an online notice looking for a young Golden Retriever named Meadow who had been lost in a forest area for over a week, he decided to join the search. Using his drone, Mr. James, a licensed hiking guide, eventually spotted a white dot on the forest floor, that turned out to be the missing puppy. He then quickly hiked to the location and found Meadow, who gradually came to him after some gentle coaxing. Fortunately, the dog was unharmed and was later happily reunited with her grateful caregivers, Gary and Debbie Morgan. Explaining why he participated in the search, Mr. James said, “Everybody’s got the capability to help. You never know what will come of it.” Our applause, Brian James and other caring community members who made efforts to facilitate this family reunion. May Meadow and her loved ones enjoy many years safe and together, in Heaven’s joy.

Coming up, Israeli Prime Minister promotes cultured meat. We will take a moment to enjoy the unique songs of the women from the Kihnu and Manija islands of Estonia. The Kihnu culture is a UNESCO-recognized Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. We’ll be right back with more inspirational news here on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News - Joyful News for a Sustainable World.

Israeli Prime Minister promotes cultured meat.

Israeli Prime Minister His Excellency Benjamin Netanyahu recently tasted a lab-grown steak from Israeli startup Aleph Farms, which was composed of isolated cells taken from a living cow. His Excellency, who was accompanied on a tour of the facility by his animal rights advisor, vegan activist Tal Gilboa, a Shining World Compassion & Courage Award laureate, described the experience as “guilt-free,” saying, “I can’t taste the difference.” He also stated, “I have directed the State Secretary Tzahi Braverman to appoint a body to serve these industries in order to connect and oversee all the stakeholders operating in this field. Israel will become a powerhouse for alternative meat and alternative protein.” Way to go, Aleph Farms, Your Excellency Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel, a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace laureate, for supporting ways to avoid cruelty and the suffering of our animal co-tenants. May we soon fulfill a global shift to veganism and a peaceful coexistence among all species, in Divine abundance.

Endangered Antarctic blue whales return to South Georgia Island.

International researchers, led by marine mammal ecologist Susannah Calderan of the Scottish Association for Marine Science, recently reported seeing 58 critically endangered blue whales around South Georgia Island, a British Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic Ocean. Prior to the 20th century, the majestic whales used to frequent the region, but almost became extinct due to being mercilessly hunted. Experts were uncertain if they would ever return, and the recent sightings around this sub-Antartctic island were described as “astonishing” and a signal that they are indeed making a recovery. Our hearts are warmed and celebrating, Susannah Calderan and co-researchers. In God’s abiding care, may the magnificent whales flourish from now on as they bless the world with their immensely loving vibrations.

Let us start and end the day with a happy smile! Join us for a warm laugh with this joke entitled, “Overview.”

Three people arrived in Heaven at the same time, after dying. They were all asked:

“When your friends and family are gathered together in your memory, what would you like to hear them say about you?”

“I would like to hear them say that I was a great doctor of my time, and a great family man.”

“I would like to hear that I was a wonderful wife and school teacher, who made a huge difference in our children of tomorrow.”

“I would like to hear them say, ‘Look! He’s moving!’”

And now we have a heartline from CK Sky in the United States:

Dear Supreme Master of Universes, When I was in darkness and I was suffering, I knew nothing except infuriation and violence. I found Your Teachings or actually, You found me. Because of Your Light, I have walked the path of righteousness. I have tumbled many times along The Way, but You are always there to pick me up. You have not only taken care of me but also my family and even my friends and my enemies. Since I have practiced Your Teachings, my enemies became my friends. Words cannot convey the Love and Respect I have for You, Master. “Thank You” are the words that my soul can utter. I will ride with You again, Master. Love, Light and Peace, Your disciple, CK Sky from the United States

Resilient CK Sky, Our gratitude for your earnest heartline.
