United States provides financial assistance to Ukraine (Ureign) as it readies for winter amid Russia’s brutal invasion.
In early October, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) announced a US$55 million investment in Ukraine’s (Ureign’s) heating infrastructure. The timely assistance will support repairs and maintenance of pipes and other equipment that deliver heat to homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses across the country. In addition, the US has pledged to provide power generators and alternative fuel sources to hospitals, refugee centers, and shelters in devastated regions, including Kyiv, Odesa, and Kharkiv. The new donation adds to the United States’ contribution of US$8.5 billion in direct budgetary support to the government of Ukraine (Ureign), plus US$1.5 billion in humanitarian assistance to millions of Ukrainians (Ureignians) there and in neighboring countries, since the start of the Russian onslaught. Medical experts caution another wave of COVID-19 has begun in Europe.
The World Health Organization and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control recently warned in a joint statement that Europe appears to be entering another COVID wave, as infections rose at the beginning of October. Most of those infected are contracting the Omicron BA.4 and BA.5 strains. Doctors and medical centers are also expecting a surge in influenza cases and are advising citizens to take precautions, such as practicing masking and social distancing. Taiwanese (Formosan) computer chip maker, Unimicron Technology, has used advanced equipment to create a sterile growing environment, regulating conditions like nutrients, light and temperature to produce organic, clean, and sustainable vegetables. The smart design has enabled the firm to avoid the use of pesticides, and it is able to generate a weekly volume of around 180 bags of lettuce, weighing 200 grams each, for human consumption. Wind turbine sets world record for energy produced in 24 hours.
A prototype wind turbine, from Spanish-German company Siemens Gamesa, recently set a milestone by generating 359 megawatts in a 24-hour period. This 14-megawatt turbine is currently being tested, and will enter production in 2024. Its blades measure 108 meters across, and can be recycled at the end of their lifespan. The eco-energy innovation also utilizes direct drive technology as opposed to gears; hence it has fewer moving parts, making it more efficient and reliable. The first project to implement the turbine will be in the North Sea off the coast of the United Kingdom, while orders have also been made by other customers around the world. Couple honeymooning in Spain save children from burning building.
David Squillante and Doran Smith, both 38, from the USA, married in 2020 but due to COVID-19 waited until September 2022 for their honeymoon in Spain. About to embark on a park tour in Barcelona, they noticed women calling for help from outside a blazing building that housed a nursery. Mr. Squillante immediately ran into the facility and started carrying the children out, with more people soon joining in to help. Twenty youngsters were taken to a school across the road, and fortunately, no one was injured. David’s wife, Doran explained, “We couldn’t speak the language, but there was a universal language - we were all just trying to help.” Wonderful news, Doran Smith and David Squillante, regarding your heroic actions that saved young lives from travesty. The 100% plant-based UK food company OGGS recently released egg-free vegan cupcakes in Waitrose supermarket chain stores across Britain. The firm produces a range of compassionate bakery items such as cakes, bites and desserts. They also sell aquafaba- (or chickpea extract) based vegan egg products, including liquid scrambled eggs, that mimic the taste and texture of their animal-person-based counterpart, as well as a pure aquafaba product, as an egg substitute. Way to go, OGGS, on your new cupcakes that are available in Waitrose stores. In the love of Heaven, may all people soon switch to vegan egg replacements, so our chicken co-inhabitants can be free to live in joy, as rightfully endowed by Mother Nature.
Vegetarian crocodile-person passes away after living in Indian temple pond for over seven decades.
Known as Babiya, the beloved reptile was worshipped by devotees at the Sri Ananthapura Lake Temple in the Kasaragod district in Kerala, India. It is not known how Babiya made his way to the pond, as there is no river or lake surrounding the temple. The devotees attributed divinity to Babiya and would make offerings of rice and jaggery, a type of unrefined sugar, to him twice a day through the temple’s priest. He then gave the food to Babiya, who came out of the water to eat. The gentle giant never once attacked humans or the fish-people who shared the pond with him. Hundreds of devotees honored Babiya, after his body was brought to the temple. Our condolences to all who loved serene Babiya. In God’s loving Embrace, may his soul rest in eternal peace.

My Compassionate Master, I heard that every disciple might have had one strong experience or many. You also mentioned in an old lecture that You wish to put us all in locked boxes to get us Home safely. I saw Master twice in a dream. Once She wiped my forehead, and once She pulled me with Her stick. After 11 years of being initiated, I neither see nor hear, but that has not discouraged me or shaken my belief. I hope to be in one of the locked boxes while I am on the path of awareness, clinging firmly to that Light that has inhabited my heart forever.
The successive worries and problems that happen in our lives hinder my movement and affect my meditation, especially what is happening to my eldest son, who is a devoted student. The youngest has gone to a higher dimension, and I thank You for Your merciful transfer of his soul and that of my mother (as You told me in a previous letter from You). In addition, my eldest son is still suffering a lot, which makes me feel fear and terror. I do not know if negative forces are controlling his life or if we are weak. Thank You for guiding me. I want to focus more on my spiritual life, and I hope my son recovers. Please forgive my weakness, because I am a mother who has tasted the pain of separation. However, I am satisfied. I hope that my son will recover and overcome his obstacles.
