His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama: A Messenger of Love

Lhamo Dhondup is born in 1935. He has received global recognition for his nonviolent efforts for understanding and reconciliation, and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989. His Holiness emphasizes that by transforming ourselves, we can transform others. This transformation starts with one person, but leads to the harmony and friendship that the world needs. The Dalai Lama believes all religions guide us to build inner temples of compassion and love. We pray that his highest ideals and dreams of world peace may soon come to fruition.
