Let’s now listen to one of the speakers at the event, Asia (vegan), who is a member of Collettivo Spazio Animale (Animal Space Collective), an animal-people rights organization in Naples, Italy, focusing heavily on promoting equality across species. “This is a vegan and anti-speciesist march. Humanity proclaimed itself the master and leader in a self-built pyramid and claimed to rise to a divine state, even though it was not even able to recognize the sacred value of life. And even if we were superior for any reason to another living being, this certainly does not give us the right to violate, abuse or kill them.”

From the point of view of a political scientist, marcher Martina Micciché (vegan) illustrates today's society, which is a profit-driven structure of capitalism, full of violence and oppression, resulting from the animalization of human beings through the consumption of animal-people flesh. “And we pretend not to see this violence every day, with every purchase, with every forgetful act.”

And now, as the Naples’ Vegan Earth Day march comes to an end, activists of the organizers, Enrico Tramuto and Elisa Rossi (both vegans) are encouraging every attendee to take concrete action, and to vote for new laws that will formalize fundamental animal-people rights at a governmental level. “Yes, let's abolish hunting. Yes, let’s evolve. Yes, let's go towards the future. Yes, let's protect.”

Our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) has kindly shared with us that those who make a stand against injustice, like the animal-people rights activists all around us, are God’s workers. “These are vegan marchers who protest against the animal-people meat industry and the killing of animal-people in laboratories or in slaughterhouses as well as protesting against abortion. You should know, they are the workers of the Positive system. They are angels in disguise. You must also try to protect them or help them, support them, in any way you can.”
