On August 20, 2022, invited guests were treated to a party with an assortment of delectable vegan fare to mark the occasion of the opening of the Loving Hut Vegan Market & Café in Glendora, a suburb of Los Angeles. The cuisine drew inspiration from many cultures and included: Inspiration Sushi, Spicy Cha Cha, Gourmet Burrito, Quinoa Fiesta, Indian Curry Tofu, Japchae or Korean stir-fried glass noodles, and sumptuous vegan cakes. Among the guests were influential vegan voices of Los Angeles County. The attendees expressed their excitement over dining at the restaurant now and in the future.

United States provides food assistance to Sri Lanka.
The United States Department of Agriculture in collaboration with Save the Children has donated to Sri Lanka 320 metric tons of split yellow peas as part of a larger contribution of 3,000 metric tons of food. This supplementary nutrition is intended to help the most at-risk Sri Lankan children so they can “focus on their schooling rather than on their hunger,” said American Ambassador to Sri Lanka Her Excellency Julie Chung. Additionally, more than US$179 million in new assistance this year has been pledged by the US to help the vulnerable and boost the country’s economic stability. Mediterranean Sea experiencing more frequent marine heatwaves.
Recent research has found that abnormally high sea temperatures have become more common in the Mediterranean Sea in recent years, which are causing extensive damage to animal-people and plant life. This year, the hottest ever water temperature of 30.7 degrees Celsius was recorded off the French island of Corsica. The rising sea temperatures since 2003 have also caused an 80-90% decline in the density of two key coral species, and between 2015 and 2019 the warm water generated the loss of up to 80% of some species. Such concerning news, marine researchers, on the dangerous effects of global warming on the Mediterranean Sea and all life sources that exist within it. I have a tip to share with you! Be sure you clean your water bottles thoroughly, especially ones with lids that have built-in straws and plastic bite valves as these may harbor germs and mold. Start by taking apart the lid and removing each piece of the bottle. Use warm, soapy water and a cotton swab or straw brush to clean the crevices inside the valve. If it’s dishwasher safe, you can place each part in the dishwater and run the cycle. Allow each component to air dry prior to reassembling. Make sure you clean it regularly so you don’t have to worry about germs in your water bottle! Non-governmental organization (NGO) removes landmines in Angola.
The Mines Advisory Group (MAG), a global humanitarian demining NGO, has returned over 10 million square meters of land to communities for productive use and to facilitate sustainable economic and social development in the Eastern Province of Angola. With the support of the local government, the demining efforts help farmers restart crop production, builders rebuild basic infrastructure and citizens resume a normal life. UK to provide “warm havens” during the energy crisis.
Facilities such as libraries, museums, churches and community centers will be part of a welcoming national network for local residents who are struggling with bills to heat their homes this winter. Gas and electricity prices have risen to unprecedented levels following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, with household energy bills to increase by 80% from October. Local councils and their partners are funding and identifying indoor spaces where people can go free of charge to keep warm. Thank you, all involved, for supporting communities to stay warm and safe. Teenager in Texas develops app to help his sister communicate.
Seventeen-year-old Archer Calder from Texas, United States, developed an open source app to communicate with his nonverbal sister. Fourteen-year-old Della has Bainbridge-Ropers, a rare genetic disorder which prevents her from speaking. Unable to find something that was free, Archer used his programming skills to create FreeSpeech, an app that contains several different methods to communicate, such as tiles with pictures and words that can be clicked, or a keyboard that pronounces the letters pressed. Since the software is open source, other developers can contribute to it and improve the system. Way to go, Archer Calder, on your loving project to help beautiful Della communicate. The Himalayan Vegan Festival recently took place in the majestic cities of Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal, helping to spread awareness about the compassionate way of life to the people of the nation. The free event, coordinated by World Vegan Organisation Nepal, integrated celebrities and speakers, music and dance, a food court, cooking demonstrations, animal-person rights and education, yoga and more. The illustrious vegan speakers from over 32 countries included the Honorable Maneka Gandhi, Indian Member of Parliament and Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion recipient; Dr. Sailesh Rao, Founder and Executive Director of Climate Healers and Shining World Award for Earth Protection recipient; Derek Sarno, acclaimed chef, co-founder of Wicked Kitchen; and world record-holding former British ultra-endurance runner Fiona Oakes, a Shining World Compassion Award recipient. Companies could also showcase their products while networking with others in the industry. Tremendous news, World Vegan Organisation Nepal, on your festival to help spread the vegan message in the Himalayas and beyond. Pollination drones trialed in glasshouse farms in Australia.
Researchers at Western Sydney University and produce grower Perfection Fresh, both in Australia, are testing miniature drones made by Singaporean company Polybee to pollinate crops in indoor farms. Manual pollination is labor intensive and time consuming, and bumble bees are prohibited from being imported into Australia. The drones are helping pollinate strawberries and tomatoes in the greenhouses. Polybee founder Siddharth Jadhav reported that during tests in the United Kingdom, drones “achieved a yield improvement of more than 50% compared to bumble bee pollination.” Using the drones, farmers can work more efficiently, effectively and at the same time, reduce their input costs. Funded by Australian research and development corporation Hort Innovation, the trial is part of the non-profit’s US$40 million allocated to pollination investigation. How marvelous, researchers and all parties involved. In Heaven’s light, may this innovation benefit more farmers across the globe.

Hallo, dear Supreme Master TV team! I’d like to share two of my dreams via Supreme Master TV. When I was in my teens, I overheard someone say, “Animal-people also have their parents and feel pain just like humans. Besides, eating meat means killing lives and will definitely incur retribution.” I was so ashamed that I vowed on the spot to become a vegan for life.
That night, I dreamed that I went to a market and suddenly thousands of animal-people swarmed to kneel in front of me, begging me to rescue them. Not knowing what to do, I could only keep apologizing to them, “I am sorry. I don’t know how to save you.” After waking up, I looked for answers on how to truly help them. Later I realized that only by persuading more people to become vegan could I truly help them.
In the second dream, I went to a hell where the beings were astral bodies of living people, with neighbors I knew among them. In my dream, I understood clearly, that because they had done something wrong during the daytime, so their astral bodies had to be punished there. Many people queued up to walk into an icehouse to be frozen repeatedly. At that time, I realized why some people would feel unwell for no reason. Sometimes it is because their astral bodies are being punished without them knowing it.
Sometimes, I’d be really sad when thinking that humans are so ignorant of cause and effect and so insensitive to the helplessness of the animal-people. I wish more awakening power could permeate every human being, both outside and inside, so they could know the truth and then lead a compassionate and enlightened life.
