Saudi Arabia helps war-affected children in Yemen reintegrate into society.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) from Saudi Arabia, signed a project agreement which will help over 400 children return to school. It will also provide vocational training to their families and inform the community on children’s rights. An estimated 20,000 people will benefit from this compassionate effort. This project is part of a greater outreach by KSRelief that previously re-integrated 580 Yemeni children and their families into society, benefitting over 60,000 people indirectly. Saudi Arabia is a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace and a Shining World Leadership for Loving Care Award. UK researchers find that eating almonds daily improves gut health.
A new study by scientists at King's College London found that eating almonds increases butyrate production, a short-chain fatty acid that’s good for gut health. The four-week study was conducted with 87 healthy adult participants, from 18 to 45 years old, who were eating less than the recommended amount of dietary fiber and generally consumed unhealthy snacks prior to the trial. They were divided into three groups: one snacking on 56 grams of ground almonds a day, another taking 56 grams of whole almonds a day, and the control group eating energy-matched muffins. At the end of the trial, those participants who ate almonds (equivalent to 46 a day) had significantly higher butyrate compared with those who ate muffins. Over one million people lose their lives each year as a result of injuries and illness due to not having shoes. The Samaritan’s Feet organization has the goal to prevent this unnecessary loss. Animal-people rescue group in California, USA, assists senior dog-people whose elderly guardians can no longer take care of them.
Peace of Mind Dog Rescue, founded by Carie Broecker and Monica Rua in 2009, specializes in providing care for senior dog-people whose human caregivers are fatally ill, have passed away, or are going into nursing homes. The rescue group, which has about 1,300 volunteers, helps seniors by walking their animal companions, providing veterinary services, and also offers extra services to elderly dog-folk residing in shelters. The non-profit has found permanent homes for more than 3,000 canine-friends and temporary foster homes when needed, and has helped over 2,000 furry companions stay at home with their human caregivers. Ms. Broeker said that senior dog-people and caregivers “deserve every kindness.” Way to go, Carie Broecker, Monica Rua, and volunteers of Peace of Mind Dog Rescue! I wish Master good health! I would like to tell You about one of my inner experiences during meditation. It was sometime in October 2021. In my meditation, I saw countless Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Arahats and Deities… present on Earth to fight the devils. They were numerous. The devils made human beings do evil things. The Earth was so chaotic… and scary. I saw Master wearing a white dress. From Her hands, Master was flicking tiny, white lotus particles. She flicked one particle on my back. Those who had that white lotus particle would be protected by the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Deities during this cleansing period. Master marked Her disciples so that they would be protected (but not all of them). Only the disciples who diligently practice and sincerely seek the Truth will be protected!
In another inner experience a few months before that, I saw the Earth was so chaotic. All families had gold and money, but they had no food or rice to eat. At that time, people were awakened, but it was too late! They’d bring a few gold threads to exchange for one kilogram of rice, but there was no rice to exchange. People realized that gold was useless. They panicked and regretted. An enormous number of devils and demons revealed their true forms and chased after the humans. Stealing was everywhere. There was no protective system for humans anymore! The beasts came down to infiltrate each house and attack people. It was so chaotic and dark! I was scared because the devils and demons attacked me! I prayed to Master and recited the Five Holy Names, so then even though they could get close to me, they could not attack me!
I thank Master for letting me see these inner experiences to help me awaken and meditate more diligently. I know time is running out! I would like to remind all the initiates to sincerely practice and only pray for liberation and protection from God, Master, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas… that’s all!
