An Uplifting Supreme Master Ching Hai Day Celebration, Part 1 of 8

On February 22, 1996, to commemorate the second anniversary of Supreme Master Ching Hai Day as well as the Lunar New Year, our Association members held a celebration on the last day of an international retreat at the Hsihu Ashram in Miaoli, Taiwan, also known as Formosa. Attending the event were our beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai, local VIPs and dignitaries, along with their families and friends, and the media. In this series of programs, we are delighted to present to you the beautiful, creative performances by our Association members from different countries for the occasion.

Let’s enjoy Part 1. “It’s still New Year today. And I sincerely wish everyone all the best. (Thank You, Master!) It is a very old ancient traditional New Year, so even though if you are from other countries, we sincerely wish you a very beautiful, happy, lucky new start.”

Now, we’re going to start our celebration programs. The first opening program is: “Auspicious Dragon Dance.”

Master, all our honored guests and fellow initiates, Happy Lunar New Year! Welcome to the Hsihu center, Miaoli, of Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association. On top of the cheerful Lunar New Year, we also celebrate the Supreme Master Ching Hai Day this year, making it more meaningful with extra love and peace. Our Master, Supreme Master Ching Hai, has been doing charity work quietly around the world, assisting countless disaster victims and refugees, and spreading the Quan Yin Method globally to uplift the spirituality of the people. On February 22, 1994, Supreme Master Ching Hai, received the World Spiritual Leadership Award at the Hyatt Hotel, Chicago. The Governors of six US states, including Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Kansas, Missouri and Minnesota, announced February 22 as The Supreme Master Ching Hai Day. It’s the third year since then.

We joyfully celebrate The Supreme Master Ching Hai Day together with the Lunar New Year. Besides being diligent in our daily spiritual practice, our fellow initiates from all over the world bring brilliant programs today to convey our infinite gratitude and best wishes to Master. We’re more than happy to share Master’s boundless spiritual Love with all the honored guests today. Thank You, Master for Your tireless efforts in teaching us, and we wish Master happiness and good health every day!
