According to the Hindu scriptures, Lord Kalki is to appear at the end of the Kali Yuga to defeat the evil demon Kali, thus opening the new Satya Yuga, the Golden Age. As we explore the Sri Kalki Purana and other Hindu texts, we'll find out more about Lord Kalki's deeds and some compelling resemblances with Supreme Master Ching Hai's mission today concerning the elimination of evil from our Earth. In the Sri Kalki Purana, Lord Shiva presents Lord Kalki with a horse, a parrot, and a sword, to equip Him on His mission. Let's explore the symbolic meaning of this part. In our times, a “horse” that can go anywhere and assume many forms might be an automobile on land, an airplane in the sky, a UFO in space, or perhaps an ethereal vehicle to traverse spiritual worlds. Supreme Master Ching Hai has travelled all over the globe, mostly by airplanes, for Her spiritual mission. “My birds have to remind me that something will happen. Or even the wilds, they tell me. So the animals are tremendous help to mankind. I just hope that one day the humans truly understand this and make use of their valuable resource that God has sent onto this planet for us.” “The sword that could drive away malevolent spirits - that means the wisdom. At the time of initiation, when you are imparted with this power, it's similar to the sword that cuts asunder all the things that have been ailing you, that have been troubling you, that have been attached to you and giving you trouble and obstructions in your life and making you separated from the Tao. That is the sword, the ‘sword of Manjushri,’ the ‘sword of wisdom.’ That doesn't mean a physical cutting knife.”
