The Book of Mormon contains the sacred religious text of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or the Mormon Church. The founder of the church was the early 19th-century beloved spiritual leader Joseph Smith, who experienced a series of visions of God and Lord Jesus Christ. Today we will read excerpts from “The Book of Moroni,” the concluding part of the Book of Mormon. We’ll learn how through the wise word of God one can always be in Hiers presence, while keeping a perfect vision of distinguishing between right and wrong. “Therefore, all things which are good cometh of God; and that which is evil cometh of the devil; for the devil is an enemy unto God, and fighteth against Him continually, and inviteth and enticeth to sin, and to do that which is evil continually. But behold, that which is of God inviteth and enticeth to do good continually; therefore, everything which inviteth and enticeth to do good, and to love God, and to serve Him, is inspired of God.”
