The beloved Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi was a Persian poet and Sufi enlightened Master, whose elegant words speak to our hearts and our minds. His poems have touched people around the world, encouraging the realization of the inner Self and transcendence from material existence to inner peace and joy. Master Kabir was a mystical Saint and poet, who, in His poems, fused different religious influences and characteristics into one in such a genius way. It is by these, rather than the didactic teachings associated with His name, that He makes His immortal appeal to the heart.
