For people from cold climates, it’s very difficult to live in a hot country, and hot-country people cannot live in the cold. It takes some time, takes a long, long time to get used to it. That’s why sometimes, if I run around the world a lot, I get sick, also. It’s many things. Like, in our group, when we cook for the public, we wear masks and gloves, surgical gloves, for hygienic reasons, for everybody. But if I go out around everywhere, eat any kind of food, unhygienic, and they don’t wear masks to stop the germs from their mouths when they talk into my food, of course, I get sick too.

So, I approve of the Canadian government and your people, and your land very much. I like it very much. I might consider going there also, it's not that I don't. It’s just the cold that kills me. In Canada, we can rarely sit like this together outside. And you might have more pain and more cough. I don’t know – more difficult to sit; I’m not sure. I’ve lived in cold climates for a long time since I left Âu Lạc (Vietnam). And I’ve been sick a lot of times there because inside the house it’s warm; you get outside, it’s so cold. And you can’t get used to it so quickly. My fragile lungs sometimes feel painful there. And you take a long time to get used to cold climates because your blood is thinner when you live in a hot country, and vice versa.

That’s why for people from cold climates, it’s very difficult to live in a hot country, and hot-country people cannot live in the cold. It takes some time, takes a long, long time to get used to it. That’s why sometimes, if I run around the world a lot, I get sick, also. It’s many things. Like, in our group, when we cook for the public, we wear masks and gloves, surgical gloves, for hygienic reasons, for everybody. But if I go out around everywhere, eat any kind of food, unhygienic, and they don’t wear masks to stop the germs from their mouths when they talk into my food, of course, I get sick too – temporarily, even then. Even then, I get sick. And also the climate changes so fast, like from Thailand to Germany. In a few hours, I’m in the cold, and in a few hours, I’m back in the hot again. It’s so fast, so fast; my body doesn’t have time, sometimes, to adjust, and that’s how I get sick. Don’t think that, “Why does Master get sick? Even She practices the Quan Yin Method and still gets sick.” I still do. It’s the crazy work that I’m doing, the crazy pace. Yeah?

(I’ll try in English.) Never mind, it’s fine. You can speak French. (There is a company – I tested it on the plane while flying to the retreat – that uses magnetic energy that’s used for astronauts at NASA. They’ve made a jacket – it’s called far infrared – that keeps the heat as well as the cold. And when traveling, we do not have the effect of jet lag.) Oh, that’s good. Will you buy me one? (The company is Nikken. It’s quite expensive... I think we can...) Can we buy a jacket like that? (Yes, we can.) (And socks.) (They have socks; they have everything. They make everything but from NASA technologies.) Can we buy some? (I can show you the insoles, the insoles I have put them on the back when I was waiting in Kuala Lumpur for a day’s layover. And we meditated, we did several things.) Is it good? (It’s effective.) What is that? (We weren’t hot or cold.) (There are socks.) (That’s right. So, this is it…) Socks? It is like that? Oh! (Yes, it’s far infrared in bioceramics.) (And then you don’t sweat.) Oh, very nice. Will you buy me some? (It’s a distribution company.) OK. How much money? You ask Tong. You give money to these French people, and they will buy me some magical stuff.

(Master, when you are inside the [company] – my wife is inside, she tries to start working – the price is… Now we have sales…) Don’t worry about the price. It’s OK. (Twenty percent [off], [when] inside.) It’s good. Thank you. Can you tell her how much? You bring the money home and... (I have no idea. I don’t think about this.) Of course, of course. (And it’s a bed, too; you can sleep...) OK. Never mind. When you know, you get in touch with us. We will send the money, and you please send it for us to try. Have you tried? Is it good? (Yes!) Cool.

(The company has existed for 25 years. No product has ever been returned to the Japanese company Nikken.) OK, good, we try. I try, and if it’s good, everybody can try. (You can have it for sleeping.) Ah. Cool! (I tried to buy, but because it’s very expensive…) This may be good for you. It’s expensive? How much is it? The bed is… You know the price? (The socks are 150 francs.) The bed? (Looks like the bed is $1,000.) One thousand dollars. (It’s expensive.) What good does it do, the bed? (The mattress I tested for half an hour, and it was like if I had slept in my tent during the night. I was very fresh, very empty in the mind. And you feel very strong and...)

And the pain? If you have pain, will it go away? (For pain, there are other materials, but I think it’s always for pain.) Is it something for your pain here? (Before the African tour and retreat, in retreat, I had no more problems with blessing [vegan] food [from You] and Quan Yin meditation. And for this retreat, I don’t understand why the problem came back. I am a little) Did you put anything there? (afraid of what it is, a big problem or not – I don’t know. But I put the Nikken material, and it’s better because it’s two technologies. Excuse me, Master. Magnetic and infrared, you can cover with a blanket,) Like blanket, blanket. (yes, above) Under your back. (and under. Two technologies.) Two. (And you sleep very good. And for your head,) OK, OK. (it’s better on a cold night.)

Can you give us a catalog to see which one is what, which one is good for me? I’ll try. But I don’t think I can take my bed everywhere around the world. (No, but this one you can take in the airport. It is the Nikken seat. We can roll it; very simple.) I think I heard about this before. I heard this from Singapore; there’s a mattress. They said it’s very good or something, but then I forgot all about it. I run around too much; I forgot. It’s true. I need ten attendants: one to take the bed, one to take the socks, the other one takes care of everything else. (And the shoes are very simple. Me, I have only for the...) (Soles.) (Yes.) One thousand dollars is not really expensive, because if you buy a normal bed, it’s also $500, $800 sometimes. (And it does not take up space. They have a special case.) OK. (And the cover can be very...) Small? (small,) That’s good. (like a sleeping bag. You can be cold when it’s hot and contrary. And a lady, she tried it in winter, out on her terrace.) Ah! (Yes.) Oh, then we could go to Canada after all. (Yes, yes.) Just buy this expensive bed, and we bring it to Canada – keep warm in winter. Oh, that’s cool! (It’s a very good material.) Maybe I should go there and try. It’s all in France? (Yes.) But I think they sell it everywhere except I am not informed. (They have the socks in America.) Yeah, they do. They have everywhere, huh? (Yes.) My! You guys don’t inform me anything.

(What’s it called in English? What is this stuff called in English?) (Nikken.) (Nikken?) (The name of the [company] is Nikken. It’s Japanese, and they have several kinds of [companies] like this, but this one is the best.) Oh yeah? (It has lasted for 25 years and no complaints.) Ah, I think… OK. (No one want…) Return. Never want the money back. (The bed is guaranteed for six years.) (It’s a special magnetism system, where they have found a special way to put the – how do you call that – magnet of infrared.) Yeah, yeah, yeah. They have this magnetism therapy everywhere already. A lot of countries have. It’s just that you have to know where and which one is more reliable. Because if you don’t use it well, it could have side effects and make you feel like vomiting and sick. It is scary sometimes. But this one is reliable, huh? Never returned, huh? Cool! (Yes. When I tried the material,) It was good? (they asked me, “How do you feel?” I said, “Oh, I feel as I did my meditation, my Quan Yin meditation, three hours.”) Oh, that’s cool! Then we don’t even need to meditate! Lazy, lazy! It’s a different one, different. (Cheating.) Cheating. (My body, I mean, my body and I...) Cheating. OK, cool.

Does his wife work near your house? (Not quite, but we meet every week.) (We organized a little meditation.) Where is it? In Paris? (Me, I live in Paris, and she lives very near the Paris Center.) Paris. (No, Neuilly-sur-Marne.) I’m always very fond of Paris. Is there any way that you can stay near the sea? No, not in Paris. (Yes, I think about this.) How far from the sea is the (meditation) Center of Paris? (If you go more quickly, it’s two hours, but it’s very expensive. It’s a…) I didn’t ask for your comment. (OK.) I asked for information. (OK.) When I ask about the price, you tell me.

(OK. Currently, there is a ship that ran aground near the coast. Everything is polluted, but there are people who have been meditating, and they’re cleaning it up. Through meditation, we can also cleanse the environment.) Where? (In France.) But who cleans what? Is it us? Are we the ones who have... (No, but I know that there are groups that practice meditation that have been… Because they tried to use chemical products but polluted everything else. Whereas with meditation, it’s...) Near the sea? (By the sea.) OK. Understand. (In Brittany.) Can we rent this or what? (But I think at the moment, the prices, they may have gone down because of the stranded Erika – a lot of heavy fuel oil.) Oh. Chemical. (The tanker broke up.) Oh, so that’s why the price is cheaper now. (Maybe it’s very cheap because of no tourists, nothing.) We don’t want the poison area. (I know, me too, Master.) He thinks if we meditate, we can clean all this. (Yes.) God! (After all, we are full of mercy.) We don’t want to pay with our health! My God.

OK, anyhow, so what kind of tank is leaking? (A big oil tanker.) Oil tank leaking. (A big ship.) So what is polluted now, the sea water? (Beaches. No, the beach.) The beach is all dirty? (It’s the beach; it’s the fuel oil. And the government made a mistake, but... These were very dangerous products) Oh! (that were brought in, and the volunteers who helped were contaminated.) (Oh, I’m going to translate.) OK. (The government made a mistake, they gave bad products to clean it, and a lot of people came to help, and they have been) Sick. (sick.) (Contamination.) Contaminated. Oh! (Big time.) Oh. (I did not know all this.) My God! (Just a lot of poison.) So, the whole beach is poisoned now, and it takes a long time to clean up. (Oh, they didn’t tell that on TV. I did not know.) Of course, they don’t tell. They would only tell about the sect – the sect that grew carrots so big, but they don’t tell you about the poison. (Yes.)

(Before, I had one house in a beautiful place; it had no pollution. And now the forest is a… Before Christmas, there was a big wind in France.) (Wind.) (Storm.) (And all the forest and the trees were destroyed, and I think that maybe, I don’t know, there might be land for sale. It’s a very pure place in France. It’s a place with very pure air. It’s a microclimate, meaning it’s very good for the health. If we are sick, if we are… It is never too hot nor too cold; it’s harmonious.) Where? Is it near Paris? (Near Oléron Island.) (Is it in Vendée?) (It’s in Charente-Maritime.) It’s near Paris, somehow. (It’s not quite close to Paris.) Lyon is another… (It’s 700 kilometers.) Oh, Lyon is another city. (It’s [480] kilometers. No, Lyon is here. Paris is here. And the pollution is here.) (The west.)

And what happened there now? Is your house finished? (Yes, I fortunately sold it, because...) Did you sell it before the (Yes, fortunately, thank You, Master.) disaster? (Yes.) And now all the forests are gone? No more trees? (A lot, a lot were destroyed, a lot.) Oh, a lot! (People come to see out of curiosity because in Brittany this year the tourism… Everything is polluted, but below, in Charente-Maritime, over there, it’s very beautiful.) And people come out of curiosity, what was that about? (Let’s say to see everything that was destroyed. I think that there’s a lot of land that’s) Destroyed. (destroyed, maybe for sale, I don’t know.) Cheap, not too expensive. (Still with that idea, but I don’t know if it’s a good one.) Now if all the trees were already destroyed, what are we going to buy? What for? There are no trees, nothing at all. (We have the space, and we still can...) Thank you. No, I don’t want to work anymore. Thanks anyway.
