At the 2020 World Unity Week conference, Supreme Master Ching Hai reminded us: "It’s good that we have this opportunity to express our unity spirit and gratefulness to Heaven and Earth for our world really needs it. Needs earnest prayers and sincere effort to unite all beings on the planet. Because we are all nourished from Earth and blessed by Heavens. We are brothers and sisters including all non-human beings on Earth. It is the negative force that tries so hard since time immemorial to divide us and to make us hurt each other. But with pure prayers and sincere effort, we will win. However, just prayers and talk are not good enough. We have to act. We have to change our way of life to more benevolent, compassionate, loving and kind towards each other, regardless of race, species and nationalities." United viewers, let’s listen to three more songs on the theme of oneness. The first song is titled “A Spirit of Unity” and was written by Gakuou Ikenoue for the 23rd World Scout Jamboree. “Come on! Let's have some fun and jam the Jamboree! We can make it real You and I are here for each other One – for – all – for – one Never ever gonna let The colors that we are fade away Different hues and different tunes All the different ways we came to be You and me are here today To make the call tomorrow needs Looking up at the sky we share up there Far and wide forevermore.” The next song, “Let Us Love,” was written and performed by a member of our Supreme Master Ching Hai Association. “Black white brown yellow and red Let us see the beauty in everyone Deep inside we are all the same After all we are One It's time to turn to stop the wrong No more hatred, no more killings Reach out your hands and we will be friends Heart to heart we can change the world Let us love, love Let us love, show your love.” The last song is called “Unite the Hearts of Thy Servants.” This is a Bahá’í prayer for unity written by His holiness Bahá’u’lláh. “O my God! Unite the hearts of Thy servants, and reveal to them Thy great purpose. May they follow Thy commandments And abide in Thy law. Help them, O God, in their endeavor, and grant them strength to serve Thee.”
