After a long trip it’s good to return home to your own bed and pillow. Here is a tip on how to keep your pillows smelling fresh. Musty smells can be prevented by keeping pillows and pillowcases clean, dry and breathable. When washing pillowcases, turn them inside out and shake off any loose hair or dust first. Avoid using too much detergent or fabric softener, as residue can make the fabric less breathable and more likely to attract dust and develop odors. Don’t overload the washing machine and remove the pillowcases promptly when the cycle ends. Hang them somewhere well-ventilated and make sure they dry completely. Changing pillowcases regularly, brushing your hair before bed and avoiding going to sleep with wet hair can also help. And don’t forget the pillow inserts themselves, as they can harbor odors that eventually make their way back to freshly washed pillowcases.

Two friends, Gordon and Percy, were discussing their restaurant habits now that they were older and no longer just ate at cheap vegan fast–food outlets.
“Do you eat at sit-down vegan restaurants often?”
“Occasionally, but I never visit the same restaurant twice.”
“Let me guess– you never got accustomed to leaving a tip.”
“How did you know?”
