Eckhart von Hochheim, also known as Meister Eckhart, philosopher and mystic, born in the Holly Roman Empire. He was one of the most influential 13th-century Christian Neoplatonists in his day. The interest towards Meister Eckhart was renewed. Meister Eckhart’s most recongnizable works are his deep and boldly expressed sermon. The main theme of these sermons is the presence of God in the individual soul, the dignity of the soul of the just human, as well as the soul’s oneness with God.
