In Shining World Preservation Award News from Germany…
Matthias and Isabella Walter believe that everyone must do their part to bring peace to Earth. Planting peace trees has been their calling to help heal the world and fulfill the prophecies passed down through the First Nations. Their documentary “The Mamos and the Trees of Peace” was produced in 2015, and since then, they have established the Peacetree Foundation, which strives to ritually plant one million peace trees worldwide. Through the planting rituals and the interconnected spirits of the trees, spiritual ideas, prophecies, and “sacred messages” may be exchanged, strengthening connections between all of creation – nature, animals, and people, and creating a network of love and harmony for the world.
“The prophecies are about a time when Mother Earth will clean herself, and a new people consisting of many colors, classes, nations, religions, young and old, poor and rich, will come together again. And this tribe will make the Earth green again with all its consciousness, with its power, and with its deeds. And these people will become known as the Rainbow Warriors.”
With deep appreciation and affection for their work, Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Joyfully present Matthias and Isabella Walter the Shining World Preservation Award, plus a humble US$10,000 contribution as a small token of support to the peace tree movement for peace on the planet, with lots of love and praises in prayers to Heaven.”
In addition to the Award letter, crystalline plaque, and Master’s financial contribution, our Association members in Germany also presented an assortment of Master’s elevating publications and DVDs to Matthias and Isabella Walter plus a gift basket with vegan goodies and fruits. The following is an excerpt from the letter. “This Award is presented in recognition of your noble ideals, promoting that everyone must do their part to bring peace, and create harmony amongst all co-inhabitants sharing our fragile planet. In your documentary, ‘The Mamos and the Trees of Peace,’ as Wisdom Keepers of the natural order, the Divine Order, it’s stated that ‘Every single one of us is equally important, so that all life can exist in harmony, balance, and peace,’ that divinity exists ‘in all trees, animals, waters, in our connection to Mother Earth, in our relationships as humans, of different cultures and races, as we are all part of the great humanity on this planet.’”
Matthias and Isabella wanted to express their feelings of gratitude to Supreme Master Ching Hai on receiving the Shining World Preservation Award and Award check.

Unprecedented global warming in Persian Gulf causes coral bleaching.
A recent coral bleaching event off the coasts of Kuwait, Iran, the United Arab Emirates and Oman, has been described by marine scientists as “catastrophic.” It was attributed to record warm waters that exceeded 38 degrees Celsius at even 6-meters deep during the past summer. The occurrence was due to global warming-induced changes causing the usual northwesterly summer winds to disappear, thus leading to a 2 degree Celsius rise in water temperature. This proved to be fatal to the normally resilient coral reefs. A global report recently released by the Global Coral Reef Monitoring Network confirmed a 14% loss of coral reefs between 2009 and 2018, which is predominantly attributed to the effects of the climate crisis. Such concerning news, Persian Gulf nations, on the extreme temperatures in your coastal waters. Interesting fact: The majority of paper plates cannot be recycled as they are covered in plastic, wax, or clay, and this coating typically can’t be separated from the paper in recycling facilities. Therefore, most paper plates cannot be recycled similar to regular paper. Additionally, many cities don’t allow used paper plates to be recycled as they are covered in food waste, which will add contaminants to the recycling process. The most sustainable alternative is to use reusable plates. If you prefer a semi-disposable substitute, use plates made from natural materials such as bamboo or palm leaves. You can get multiple uses out of these plates and wash them several times. Once you got all the uses out of them, place them in a compost pile to allow them to naturally decompose. United States researchers discover vegan seniors take less medication.
Scientists from the Loma Linda University Drayson Center in California conducted a study on senior citizens and found that of the almost 330 persons surveyed, the vegans took 58% less prescription medication compared to the meat-eaters. The purpose of the research was to address a public health issue known as polypharmacy, where people have been prescribed five or more different medications, which can cause adverse drug reactions. It was also found that the vegetarians in the group, those who eat no meat but consume dairy products and possibly eggs, used the same amount of medicine as meat-eaters. Ghana commits to planting millions of trees in 2022.
At the recent 26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland, UK, Ghana’s president, His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo, declared that his country intends to start working to restore its lost forest cover by pledging to plant 20 million trees in 2022. This builds on the success the nation had in 2021 of planting 7 million trees. The president also said Ghana fully supports the global goal of halving emissions by 2030 and reaching neutrality by 2050. Thank you, President Akufo-Addo, for leading Ghana in this effort to bring back precious forests. May all world leaders urgently take the necessary actions to protect our environment for all current and future inhabitants on this planet, in Divine guidance.
Caring fathers patrol high school to protect students.
After a series of disturbing exchanges between pupils at Southwood High School, Louisiana, United States, that led to the arrest of 23 students, Michael LaFitte formed a support group of about 40 concerned fathers called “Dads on Duty” to bring safety back to the school. The fathers, without experience in counseling or criminal justice, spend time at the school, working in shifts. Mr. LaFitte explained, “We just kind of walk around and give good energy and speak to the kids.” With the fathers’ presence, violence on campus suddenly stopped, and students no longer skipped their classes. One student said: “I immediately felt a form of safety.” The fathers envision implementing the program in more schools throughout the state and hopefully the nation. The new doggie-person meals come in three wholesome vegan flavors: “No-Moo Ragu,” “No-Fishy Dishy,” and “No-Cluck Caserole.” The products, made solely from plants such as kale, papaya, broccoli, squash, blueberries and pea-based protein, contain all the essential nutrients a person from the dog kingdom needs for a healthy and thriving life. The makers of The Pack say they are “on a mission to cook-up drool-inducing, plant-based meals for every dog bowl in the world.” Congratulations, The Pack, on rolling out your planet-friendly vegan animal-people companion food. In the grace of the Providence, may all of our friendly canine-person co-inhabitants live healthy lives in safe and loving homes, where they can express their inner God nature as they bless all those around them.
Pigeon-person trapped on power cable ingeniously rescued by Peruvian police.
Peruvian police officers responded after residents in the capital city Lima reported that a person from the bird-kingdom had been stuck on a power cable for more than 12 hours. Arriving officers found the pigeon-person could not get out as his talons and feet were caught in string wrapped around the cable. The two officers decided to attach a knife with tape to a drone and sent it to cut the string. The pigeon-person was freed and gracefully descended. Well-wishers were able to remove the remaining tangled thread on this feathered friend, and he was taken to a local animal-people shelter. We are delighted to hear the pigeon kingdom person was rescued. A standing ovation, bright Peruvian police officers, helpful citizens and local animal-people shelter, for your good deed. In Heaven’s protection, may our wonderful friends from the avian kingdom always be safe and illuminate our planet.
