The British Mini range of cars, belonging to the iconic German luxury vehicle brand, will only use synthetic leather alternatives in their interior upholstery in all future models for a more timeless design.
Speaking of the change, Head of Design Oliver Heilmer shared that Mini will be able to redefine the concept of luxury and deliver high-end products by utilizing recycled materials. Moving forward, BMW has declared that a vegan leather known as Sensatec will be integrated into all of its 5-Series cars. The company is also currently developing an electric SUV.
Our appreciation, BMW and Mini, for your wise moves. We agree that animal-free leather is as classy as it is compassionate, and hope more businesses will join the essential vegan way, in Heaven’s mercy.
