Today I have a tip on how to transform your old toothbrushes into more effective cleaning tools by bending their necks or heads. To modify a toothbrush, boil a pot of water and soak the brush for about 10 minutes. After removing it, carefully bend the plastic with pliers or tweezers to your desired shape. Alternatively, you can use a small flame such as a candle or lighter to heat up and soften the plastic before bending. This simple adjustment improves the precision of your cleaning efforts. Bending just below the bristles offers a better grip, while bending the head in the middle creates a corner-shaped brush ideal for tight spaces like the bottom of a bottle.

“Good times. Now we just climb up the stairs to our apartments and shout down at our kids, ‘Get off the phone!’”
